The Loch Ness Project has been mainly concerned with natural history
objectives but in the course of our work, we use sonar and underwater
camera equipment. Occasionally, we have noted objects of interest
on the loch bed and over the years, have sometimes extended our activities
to include the location and inspection of objects having historical
interest. We call this ongoing search Operation Groundtruth. Here
are details of three of the most interesting discoveries:
